Another charming silver and silver gilt novelty surprise mushroom by Christopher Nigel Lawrence. To one side of the tree is a silver ladder on top of which is a silver basket containing a tiger's eye and a lace agate bauble. The textured and ruched silver stem leads to a slate base.
The mushroom is hallmarked by the London Assay Office for silver and 1980. It is also stamped 40/250 being a limited edition number 40 of 250.
